Hello everybody,

we are using the Courier 0.53 sqwebmail in Japanese (UTF-8 encoded) and encounter some chararcter conversion problems.

When entering Japanese autoresponder text in UTF-8 (browser charset and template charset are set to UTF-8) SOME characters get crippled.

I entered the same text as a normal message and as an autoresponder text. The autoresponder text gets crippled while the normal message text is ok.

The first thing to check is whether the actual text is ok, and just displayed wrong. After entering and saving an autoreply, look in Maildir/autoresponses and carefully examine the saved file.
