Hi There

After running mySQL on my Win2000 machine for a couple of weeks I decided to install it on my NT 4 box as well, but ran into a bit of a problem that I hope someone knows a way around.

When installing you get a message saying that if you install anywhere else than on drive c you have to put a file on drive c that points to the actual installation.

My problem is, that when the machine is booted up with NT, I cannot read/write my c drive (It's formatted for FAT32 for use with Win95).

Is there any way to get mySQL running on a machine that has no (readable) c-drive ?

As far as I know, thats not possible. I suggest you move your disks around in NT
(not the system partition, but the others), so that either your mysql drive
becomes C, or you have another drive as C that you can write to from NT.
