I'm pretty confused, what exactly can Shindig do? It seems like it implements a bare bones OpenSocial container that can show one single gadget. Where's the documentation and maybe an official website other than the incubator website?

I've use Maven and ran the little Jetty servlet and tried the example URL and it worked fine. But If I want to integrate this into my own container with a user interface and such what do I do? Must I traverse through all the code and hope it makes sense, or is there documentation somewhere?

I can't, for the life of me, find anything useful about it right now except for the terse readme files.

Anybody have any information about Shindig?

Is there any other solution easily customizable and well documented other than Shindig? How much actual man power is needed to fully create a OpenSocial container from scratch otherwise using the Specification?
