Hi All,

I desperatly need your help. I want to connect my java programs to MySQL thru JDBC. I have installed

1) jdk at c:\jdk1.2.2 2) mysql database at c:\mysql

Now I have JDBC-MySQL driver downloaded from http://www.worldserver.com/mm.mysql/

downloaded file name is mm.mysql-2.0.2-src.jar

Now the problem is that where shall I unzip/extract this file and what else I have to do, to make my java programs compile/run correctly and can fetch data from MySQL database. I have tried all possible things( classpath etc.) after reading documentation which is there in this downloades file only. I posted the same problem here few days back but didn't get the output.

I request all of you to please help me out as I am posting this message after trying the process a lot. I know I am missing a small thing in installation process of the driver.
