To benefit of all new features, I would recommend you to upgrade to the latest
build and not to the 9 monthes old build 543.

Marc,

You're right. Got so fixated on why a release on my Linux broke the scripts, that it didn't occur to me to just upgrade whole thing, which I just did (to release 1.6 - build number 543). It appears to be working fine - just takes a little getting used to the different structure.

Thanks for your patience.

Why do you want to use a version that is no fast 1 year old? Current one provides many improvements.

Sorry for the misinformation. The webtest version that works just fine is build number 517. The one that causes the error below is 535 (Release 1.5). (My original references were confusing the Release number with the the Ant version, but I've confirmed that this doesn't appear to be the source of the problem.)

For some reason, when I run the simple project file included below with build 517 (which I've been doing for over a year), everything works as it should. When I simply change to point to webtest build 535, I get those errors. No change in environment nor in the project file. It's as if (in a way I don't understand) the classpath isn't working right.

This should be simple, but the solution eludes me.
