Subject:[maildropl] Maildrop o OpenBSD 3.0Actions...

HI,

I am installing a setup similar to one I have running on a redhat box.

Postfix -> Maildrop -> Courier IMAP-ssl

I am trying to use UserDB as the authentication method so that I can put all the mailboxes under the 'vmail' user. I have installed all the above from the OpenBSD Packages (pre-compiled install sets).

I have make my /etc/userdb file and run makeuserdb on it. When I try to run 'maildrop -d user' I get 'maildrop: Invalid user specified.'. Also If I try to login to the 'user' account I get a 'connection reset' (from Mulberry) after I see the certificate check.

I believe there is a problem with the userdb authentication but I am not sure. Can you check that it is working without running maildrop / login to imap?

It works fine on my redhat, self compiled install.

Any help would be great. BTW I am not on the list. Please copy me directly. chri@kyros.co.uk

Thanks

Chris
