Yea, I was hoping for 5th but was expecting 5th or around there. From Terms and Conditions (http://code.google.com/android/adc-submit/ tandc.html):

h. NOTIFICATION: Participants who are chosen as potential Qualifying Grant recipients will be notified by email on or about May 5, 2008.

This has always had the words "about May 5, 2008".
