Hi All

hello. please don't respond to a thread and change the subject. it breaks the threading for those mail clients that support it and also makes the archives harder to follow.

Can anyone throw some light on creating a Datasource in JBoss for MySQL. I created one and it ends up in " javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: emn8 not bound"

what version of jboss are you using? the process is different for jbos 2.* and hbos 3.*. for 2.*, you need to add a section for mysql to the jboss.jcml file. for 3.*, you need to add a file to the deploy directory of the server type you are using. in any case, this is a subject that would be better discussed on the jboss list. one more note, there is a helpfull "getting started" document on jboss's source forge site.
