Hello,

Anyone who is experiencing this, can you please post or email to me:

- Google Desktop version (it's in the "About" page) - AVG version - OS (Including SP level if you happen to know)

Thank you all for your help, James

I have the same situation here with the AVG scan finding Trojan horse Generic5.JJP in both googledesktopsetup.exe and googledesktopupdate.exe. Are there any further updates on this situation?

I have the same problem. I think AVG is misdiagnosing this issue, but it automatically tries to "heal" google desktop .exe. There's no option to ignore it. I've been forced to uninstall Google Desktop until the issue is resolved.
