I received a 'Welcome to perforce-admin' email, but nothing since.

The list was suppose to send out info of patch releases of Perforce. If you haven't received anything then either you aren't on the list yet either or they aren't really using it.

Just like the user list. There hasn't been any traffic yet, but the list is there.
