please correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't those catOS commands? i'm running
IOS.
in any case, i gave them a go for fun and %Invalid input is given back.
cheers
Did you try commands:
"session 16"
or ?"switch console 16" - this should switch the console port on standby SUP

Subject: [c-nsp] Standby Sup2/MSFC2 on 7609
i'm curious if anyone knows of a way to remotely check the memory levels of a
standby msfc2 on a c7609 running IOS 12.1(13)E15.? i can get the active and
standby sup2 with the usual 'sh ver' and 'remote comm switch sh ver' or
'attach'
type of stuff, but can only get the active msfc2.? can't seem to find any
'backdoor' ways other than pulling the card out and having a peek (and even
then
it is somewhat hard to identify the chip).? didn't find much on cisco's site.
so, other than performing a redundancy switch, any ideas would be greatly
appreciated.
cheers
