0.8 is largely compatible with 0.7, so if you write applications with
0.7, you should be able to easily modify them to use the 0.8 spec.
With that in mind, if you're developing in the iGoogle sandbox, you
should continue to use 0.7 until we announce that 0.8 is available.
The new version of iGoogle launching in June will contain only the new
interface and large canvas view. Social features will launch through
