Perhaps it's not all the important other than a historical note.

Dear all

I was surprised and saddened that the 150th anniversary of the publication of Darwin's Origin of Species last week, Nov. 24, passed without much notice in the media, including here. I am sure there were some news, blogs, etc, and since I've been so busy lately that I know I missed some news, but I remember seeing a lot more earlier this year, in February, on the occasion of Darwin's 200th birthday. Perhaps people thought they had already celebrated enough back in February, and did not need to pay respects to this landmark work?

Congratulations, C.D.!

Fabio
