I have been playing with SU since January this year, let's say a
more or less serious hobby.
My work (self employed since 1986) involves construction,
calculations and making the drawings (in another 2/3D program) for
other people (private), contractors or sometimes architects.
But low profile now for building my house (and office) comes first.
This includes almost everything, from foundation to finished product.
A lot of work I do myself, foundation, sewerage, (helping with)
bricklaying, floors, carpentry, roof tiles, electricity, heating
system
etc....! Just name it. Craftsmen are hard to come by. And I don't like
them to mess with my design. I have the (dis-)advantage of having a
mechanical engineering background (precise/=/mm).
I hope to be able to use SU professionally in the near future.
For now it's just playing, practising and learning.
