Speedy,

You make a very good point. However, the great thing and maybe a downfall of Google transit (gt) is that agencies are responsible for submitting their own feeds. Each agency is responsible for providing as much information as they want, from the minimum requirements to very detailed feeds. For example, If you've had some time to search google.com/transit, you might have noticed that Japan's transit system includes all regional and national rail networks, domestic airlines and ferries.

The question we might want to ask is "How can Google encourage other countries to participate in Google Transit".

Cheers

Google needs to be less US biased and include other transit systems such as London, Toronto, and Paris to name a few.
