Hello.

I would like to find out if maildrop, when configured in maildir format could perform server side filtering? If so, how would subfolders be organized?

Is Cyrus-IMAP compatible with such filtering? On the website of maildrop, the docs say that such filtering is possible but that no client is compatible with it. Is this still the case or am I misunderstanding the "Maildir folder extension" section of the INSTALL document?

Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Also, how safe is it to use maildrop with NFS partion for mail delivery? As I understand it, maildir eliminates the need for locking so does that mean use of NFS is safe?

Thanks
