actually I uninstalled all the mysql on my machine and dropped down to the
3.22.23 I think which is one that is rpmed to my flavor of linux...than I
installed the mysql++ with no problems thank you for the help.
Another option might be to specify the --nodeps when instaklling the
rpm. This ignores any dependencies. However, I've never had any problems
installing mysql++ using the source rpm. That way your libraries are
built with what you currently have on your machine to avoid any possible
conflicts.
