Are you running Tomcat on NT ? On NT you have to explicitly name all .jar files in the classpath.
Really?! Yes I am running NT.
Do you happen to know why? Is it a Tomcat bug (meaning Tomcat is not entirely portable?) or a limitation of NT JVM implementations, or some other factor? Does this apply to other servlet engines on NT? (WebLogic, Unify eWave, Allaire...)
This is somewhat unfortunate for all web application developers - it makes deployment much harder!
I'll give it a try...
