mine is:

maildrop unix - n n - - pipe flags=uR user=maildrop argv=/usr/local/bin/maildrop -d $recipient -w 90

not sure if you need the curly braces, although it seems as if you are not actually having problems getting the mail delivered. try seeing if adding the -w (quota warning) turns it on
