Guys,

Unfortunately the FN ins't very accurate. :((

We know this and are working on it.

Sorry for the trouble.

Just giving you a head's up.

If it were up to me I'd remove it entirely for now.

Good news: The Feature Navigator is a nice 'orientation' tool, not very
accurate though comment: one should have checked the actual release notes to verify the
results of the orientations

Bad news: beginning with 12.3, the releases notes advise us to consult with
the feature navigator... and the loop is closed :(

I can only hope, that someone, somewhen @cisco will listen, share, and deliver
:)

rgds, -z.

You can have quite good information via the feature navigator, what is available for certain releases. You get similar features on sup720 with 12.2.(16)SXD{1,2,3} what you get on Cisco 7200 with 12.2(18)S (provider line of images).

Rafi of IUCC NOC found that going from IOS[12.2(18)S7 SP/SSH 3DES] to the 7600 SUP720 version of [12.2(17d)SXB5 ADV IP W/MPLS/IPv6/SSH/3DES+BGP] lost the following features:
