Makes no difference. Just use Courier's "deliverquota" program as your local delivery agent and you'll get full Maildir++ support, with whichever mailer you are comfortable with (I use Exim).

Although I can make a test installation (which in fact I'm doing these days), we would like to know about some real large installations using multiple virtual domains.

'Virtual domains' are nothing to do with Courier-IMAP or SqWebMail (they just get told which Maildir directory to look in). So if I were you, I'd stick with the mailer you know and trust.
