Hello jjd,
Good catch! Yes Base items with locations which are entered through
the API (or front end) are added to Froogle but I'm not sure about
bulk uploads, those may still require two versions of the item.
Regarding your last question, products are the main item type for
Froogle listings.
Thank you,
Jeff

I've read that if you post an item to google base with the api and
include a location attribute that base will pick it up, but you will
be excluded from Froogle. The developer forum suggested posting the
item twice, on of which excluding the location and user 'products' as
the type to make sure one of them got into froogle.
I've posted some items both with and without location and it seems
that both of them are listed on Froogle. Has something changed? Will
Froogle accept items with locations? What are the current
requirements/restrictions for Item to be listed in both base and
froogle?
Thanks in advance
