Ok,
- Maybe you should check Online Documentation (searching for "named pipes stored procedures" in version 4.1.x): - http://dev .mysql.com/doc/mysql/search.php?q=named+pipes+stored+procedures&base=http%3A%2F%2Fdev.mysql.com&lang=en&version=4.1&doc=1-4.1&m=o - Also, I think you are OT (out of topic) posting on this .NET list, which is related only to .NET Connector issues. What you really need is to go for general mySQL server Forums and start looking for "named pipes" vs "stored procedures" help, in order to help others at the same time you start getting tips.

Ok,
I switched to named pipes, and now all my stored procedures are returning this error.
PROCEDURE XXX.XXXX can't return a result set in the given context
Thoughts?

Quick one for you all,
I've got a client hosting their web app and MySQL on the same server. What connection type offers me the fastest speed? First answer gets a prize.
