I have editied /etc/courier/hosteddomains/webadmin it contains;

steinmetznet.com no.steinmetznet.com hamlet.no.steinmetznet.com

I also have /etc/courier/locals which contains;

localhost steinmetznet.com no.steinmetznet.com hamlet.no.steinmetznet.com

Wrong.

The same domain cannot be listed in both locals and hosteddomains. One or the other, not both.

That's what I meant in my first message: whether a domain needs to be listed in one, or the other, depends on your authentication configuration. But no matter what your story is, the same domain cannot appear in both files.

The courier(8) man page explains the difference between locals and hosteddomains.
