Dev/Ryan,
A MOST beautiful model! Let me however suggest you something: you have turned edges off in the styles menu. I guess just for a mere reason: there are edges on the petals for instance that are rather hard to hide or (in better case) soften. This is because they create faces WITHIN the petals. I think to make this model ultimately perfect, you should get rid of these faces and then softening would make your orchid seemlessly smooth.
I know it would be a long and tedious work but the model is so nice that I wouldn't spare the energy.
