We (Coolbase / P och P natverksinformations system AB ) have MySQL problems
running under windows Nt 4.

Our problem consists of table locks and service errors.

The MySQL server is mainly accessed through PERL scripts / CGI and for the past
two days several errors has occured.

All connections to the MySQL service has gone to locked mode and the only way to
free connections is to restart the NT server. It has been impossible to free
connections with refresh or reload commands. you can´t even free connections
with stopping and starting the MySQL service.

The processlist says that everything is locked. how can this problem be solved? What is the reason for the locks?.

Another problem that have occurded twice in one day is that the MySQL service
haven´t been able to start after rebootin the NT server.
