Again, my main point is that I shouldn't be forced to change my password. How I handle passwords should be entirely up to me.
You don't own the computers you're accessing. You're using Apple's servers. They have every right to specify the password policy for access to their servers.
What you do with your password is your business, but Apple has every right to require you to change it periodically.
It's not especially difficult. Use the same password and append a monotonically increasing digit.
