Subject:[maildropl] maildrop and vpopmail/SQWebmailActions...

I'm more of a newbie than most, so bear with me.

I found instructions for getting maildrop to work with vpopmail, and I followed them. I'm having problems, so maybe you can help me...

The instructions I followed were found here http://mail.socha.net/story/2001/12/13/102223/32 and here http://www.almqvist.net/johan/qmail/vpopmail+maildrop.html

I created a test e-mail address: te@remedydevelopers.com

I added a .qmail-test file in /home/vpopmail/domains/remedydevelopers.com :

| /usr/local/bin/maildrop /home/vpopmail/domains/remedydevelopers.com/test/Maildir/mailfilter

I added a maildirfilterconfig file in /home/vpopmail/domains/remedydevelopers.com/test/Maildir :

MAILDIRFILTER=/home/vpopmail/domains/remedydevelopers.com/test/Maildir/mailf ilter MAILDIR=/home/vpopmail/domains/remedydevelopers.com/test/Maildir

My problems are twofold: 1) mail does not get delivered to this address.

and 2) when I save a filter in sqwebmail - a) I cannot edit it. When I go back to edit filters, it does not show up. b) mailfilter.tmp is created when I add a filter, but no file named mailfilter ever is created. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work, but it doesn't seem right to me.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks, Steve

btw.. I am using qmail 1.03 vpopmail 5.01 sqwebmail 3.3.0
