This shows you are running some absolutely ancient version of
courier-authlib, possibly from the days when courier-imap came with
courier-authlib integrated.
So let's start from the beginning, which is probably where we should have
started. What exact versions of
courier-imap
courier-authlib
and/or sqwebmail
ii courier-authda 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - Authentication daemon
ii courier-authmy 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - MySQL authentication
ii courier-base 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - Base system
ii courier-imap 3.0.8-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - IMAP server
ii courier-imap-s 3.0.8-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - IMAP over SSL
ii courier-pop 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - POP3 server
ii courier-pop-ss 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - POP3 over SSL
ii courier-ssl 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - SSL/TLS Support
are you running? Under what operating system?
Debian Sarge (3.1).
Are you running pre-compiled
binary packages (if so, where did you get them from), or did you compile
them yourself from source (if so, what options to ./configure did you use)
Most of the packages came from the Debian US ftp site, and they were installed
with apt-get install. I downloaded both courier-authlib and sqwebmail from the
courier-mta.org web site and configured and compiled them myself. I didn't set
any configuration options with courier-authlib, and with sqwebmail, I set the
configuration options for the cgi-bin directory, image directory, and
enable-softtimeouts. The courier-authlib version is 0.58, and sqwebmail is
5.1.3.
