Try changing your logfile line to:

logfile "$HOME/.maildir/maildrop.log"

I just tried the tilde in my .maildropfilter file and when i send myself a message, i get the "Unable to create log file" error.Using $HOME works for me.

Ok, this problem is solved, thanks! But now I always got "Unable to create dotlock"-errors. So I recompiled maildrop with '--enable-use-dotlock=0', and then it says: "Unable to open mailbox". The directory exists and permissions should work.

What's wrong? :( Fabiano
