We are now at the final phase of testing of our system that we should ship to
our customer somewhere in August or September so we cannot now upgrade to newer
version of App Server. We would like to upgrade to new version of JWSDP because
we have some problems with JWSDP 1.3 that is JAX-RPC part of it so we want to
check if that problem is corrected in new version of JWSDP.
The problem is in returning of large SOAP messages to Java client when server
stub puts carriage return in message at some position and when that carriage
return appears inside of XML element tag then Java client throws exception
because it sees that message as not well-formed XML. For example when we tried
the same test with .NET WS client it manages to receive response message.
This problem is happening only with SOAP response messages. SOAP request
messages does not have such problem.

Hi Kreso: JWSDP 1.4 supports Sun Java AppServer 8.0_X only and don't support Sun JES AppServer 7.0. We made this decision because of the resource constraints and also as AppServer 8.0 is available for some time. Is it not possible for you to upgrade to Sun Java AppServer 8.0 ? If this is not possible then can you please let us know the reason? If it comes to that, then we can try to provide you with some unofficial ANT script ( not officially supported ) to integrate JWSDP 1.4 into AppServer 7.0 .
