Joseph,

Google has actually created some helpful .NET utility classes for us if you care to use them. You can find them here:

http://google-api-adwords-dotnet.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/

The AdWordsUser is a class that they created outside of the Webservices. It just wraps things up in a nice way in order to help us keep down repetative code and so you don't have to create this functionality yourself.

Hope this helps?

One thing that has me quite confused is the AdwordsUser object that is used in the .NET source code examples. I have searched it and from what I have gathered, it is not an object from one of the Web services. Is this correct? Do I need to create an AdwordsUser class? Is there some documentation that I could read to bring myself up to speed on this?

I do have my web services correctly in place thanks.

Thanks,

J

Great stuff guys, I appreciate the help.

I can't wait to get home and look into some of this stuff.

I'll keep you posted on my success/failure.

Thanks again,

J

I second the approach of using the WSDL command to generate the code. It offers a lot more clarity in the process than letting VS hide everything. However, I built the xml parameters file so it's a little easier to keep track of and share with others what's going on.- Hide quoted text
