Did both get faster, or did dev catch up with prod?

It appears that "dev" has closed the gap with production. At the risk of losing kudos, this appeared to happen when we upgraded to Spring 2.5.4. We suspect it may be down to a more efficient implementation of a path resolver in Spring, but we don't really know. Whatever the reason, it's a big win all round. I'm glad others are seeing this improvement, because I thought I was imagining things :)

Cheers,

Peter
