I tried it out. I'm a developer. The big miracle is saving data to a
user's PC????
So it's a reinvented a cookie, under a new standard? And require a
plugin to be installed to do it? I don't see the use of this, it'll be
a pain to deploy and only provides cookie functionality for the few
people not connected.
Microsoft already tried this with XML data islands and it wasn't
adopted because it's too cumbersome to resync the data later with an
offline session. And if you do have the level of sophistication to
build the sync ability, you don't really need this anyway.
Nice try. Make it work without a plugin and get Microsoft to adopt it
in IE. Then maybe I'll be impressed.
