Hi All,

why mysql.exe dont need a user password when i login. I want that no one
can enter in database without proper password. but when i issue this command
(mysql.exe -u root) from command prompt i entered into database without password
and can do anything that i wish even i have set "root" user password then still
it doesn't require it why? and the second thing how can i change mysql port. any
help will be extremly appriciated.
