I'm trying to have the maildirs automatically generated when an email comes in for a user stored in ldap, if the directory doesn't already exist.

I've tried various forms of /etc/maildroprc. ... What am I missing here?

The maildroprc instructions are run as the user, who probably can't write to the directory where home dirs live, and can not chown files from another user to their own uid.
