Danny's amendment 2 was precisely to avoid any future need to such super-majority voting. It is not a technical problem however just a procedural issue.

Due to lack of time we tabled the main motion and amendment. Since we did not have consensus on the amendment, I would encourage folks to discuss this on the mailing list. We'll take this up again next week.

main motion: leave chapter 4 as-is and mark it as non-normative, keep chapter 4 in sync with the rest of the spec

amendment: If the work of keeping chapter 4 in sync is too onerous then we remove chapter 4 (support for BPEL 1.1)
