Are you saying these files are generated? If so, why version control them?

Otherwise, have you tried using \ or " to escape them?

Hello All,

One of our systems produces files that have # and % in their names. Any way to add them to Perforce *without* changing their name. (I can always write a script that changes the file name during sync ...)
