I also would recommend to place showcases or similar things at the evnets of the "big vendors" like IOD EMEA in Rome, IOD in Veas, EMC World, OpenText LinkUp, SAPPHIRE ...

Hi Ethan,

For the AIIM Conference, a few OASIS members submitted presentation proposals on CMIS that were accepted. Betsy also reserved a speaking opportunity for David Chow on the show floor. She also mentioned that a CMIS demonstration will be taking place on the show floor. It looked like we were all set with that event, so I didn't include it on the list of possible new activities for CMIS.

Please continue to forward comments to the list on possible future activities. We are very eager to begin promoting CMIS at the next level.

CMIS Marketing List Subscribers,

OASIS is working on a 2010 CMIS events plan. Our main goals are to educate the marketplace on the benefits and status of CMIS and to provide visibility for our TC members.

We'd like to have a major CMIS activity (workshop, expo showcase, and/or interoperability demo) in at least two events this year. We'd also like to coordinate an OASIS CMIS presentation or panel at as many other events as possible.

Please review the list of events below and let us know which you feel would be most beneficial for your company. Additional event ideas are also welcome.
