Well, I put my InnoDB tablespaces right in the data directory.
Of course, in mysqlfront the innospace database shows up but you can't do
anything with it!
When I copy my data dir over to another server it picks up everything
exactly (obviously with the same innodb set up parms on the other box)...

The MySQL manual says about backups:
"You can also simply copy all table files (`*.frm', `*.MYD', and `*.MYI'
files) as long as the server isn't updating anything."
Can this method be used with InnoDB tables?
