Hi,

On Mon, 3 Mar 2003, Warly wrote:

Thanks for the hint! Would you mind telling me the full "configure" line you are using and what the exact error message is you get? Thanks!

Configure:

/configure i586-mandrake-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr --exec-prefix=/usr --bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc --datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include --libdir=/usr/lib --libexecdir=/usr/lib --localstatedir=/var/lib --sharedstatedir=/usr/com --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --enable-shared --with-berkeley-db --with-innodb --with-openssl '--with-server-suffix='\''-Max'\''' --enable-assembler --enable-local-infile --with-mysqld-user=mysql --with-unix-socket-path=/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock --prefix=/ --libdir=/usr/lib --with-extra-charsets=complex --exec-prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc --datadir=/usr/share --localstatedir=/var/lib/mysql --infodir=/usr/share/info --includedir=/usr/include --mandir=/usr/share/man --program-prefix=

Thanks, is it intentional, that some parameters are doubled?

Error:

I've used the vanilla 4.0.11a tarball and tried the exact configure line you provided (sans the duplicates) and was not able to reproduce this. Maybe it's a toolchain-dependent problem?
