About "documentation for the xmlrpc.php", most (if not all) of the documentation you'll find AFAIK is:

i look already at this places before im asking at a mailing list:

1-WIKI (link sent in previous message below)

- no info there: only a changelog entry about xmlrpc

2-Simple internal Help (click on Help link within Eventum)

- no info there

3-users and devel email List-Archives (these emails)

- no info there - only the info that 2 years before there was no documentation.
maybe there some new additions to it...

4-MySQL Eventum Bug system http://bugs.mysql.com/ (issues and responses are helpful sometimes)

- no entry about xmlrpc

5-Local txt files (FAQ, INSTALL, README) within Eventum installation.

no info there

6-The PPT presentation (link sent in previous message below)

no api reference there

Anyway, the *RPC*.php files seem to be few (~5 => ~180kb of code). Maybe it won't be too hard to understand (just guessing, haven't used, I dunno).

i look at it before asking, but before i guess all parameters and what each
function is doing i like more some documentations.

Suggestion: next time reply to list o use reply all (I'll get 2 emails, but that's not big deal), this might be useful for someone else. Hope I'm not sharing a personal email :O

yes you are right. mailing list emails normaly have the list email adress as the
main return email.

Best Regards

oh - now i see my short first question was not that clear as i think sorry

it seems there is no fast solution for my problem. maybe i can extend the existing netbeans.tasklist.bug package for parsing eventum taks

thanks for the link to the presentation. it points me to the xml-rpc api maybe i look more at the xml-rpc.

but: is there a documentation for the xmlrpc.php file available? i did not found it.

Hi Arno

Hmm, you'll miss lots of points in the wiki :( but there have been plans to improve it... http://eventum.mysql.org/meetup_presentation.ppt

Anyway, my suggestion was to "Read The Fabulous Wiki" ;)

I think the question WAS ambiguous, so I assumed you hadn't done your homework. One could think you meant:

1. Modify Eventum sources inside IDE like Netbeans => http://lists.mysql.com/eventum-devel/657 http://php.netbeans.org/

2. Developing a project with netbeans, you found bugs in your project and want to report them to Eventum (your case).

Now, I'm not sure if you can integrate Eventum with IDE for error reporting, but you can always use as separated apps. I just know one of "the competition" can integrate with Eclipse via plugin. Maybe Bryan will know better.

Best Regards

Hi,

thanks for your suggestion. but i already done the rtfm task before

asking ;-) and i miss the point "IDE Integrations" for Netbeans (or Eclipse Mylyn) etc

I mean: how i can use Eventum as my bugtracking system if i program

with Netbeans and see the issues inside Netbeans (as a tasklist for example)?

PS: there are some other solutions with netbeans like CodeBrowser/Trac ...

as an example see this screencast:

http://www.netbeans.tv/screencasts/NetBeans-AML-and-Collaboration-Module-208/

Is there someone who already use Eventum in combination with netbeans?

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I guess u should rtfm (and I don't mean http://bestpractical.com/rtfm/)

Actually, in this case, rtfw: http://eventum.mysql.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

Cheers
