btw. this is true no matter if the same application is installed on viewer's profile or not. In other words; if you install this sample "Activity Generator" app ( http://sandbox.orkut.com/AppInfo.aspx?appId=1014107943644) and your friend tries to generate activity by using this app. on your profile it doesn't generate any activity. And this behavior is independent whether your friend installed the same app. or not.

The behavior of the Activity Stream looks like; user can post activity stream from an application installed on his profile however if the user is interacting with an application which is installed on a friend's profile (viewer != owner) then the activity stream is not generated at all... Is this by design (I didn't see any limitation on the Open Social 0.7) or is this a bug?

But, when i publish updates using the app, i see only updates in MyUpdates page. When my friend adds the app and publishes an activity, its not visible to me. Also, its posting only the verbatim of the BODY field in the activity and its completely ignoring HTML tags.
