I have been trying to compile the maildrop-1.7.0 package and I continually get
an error with "--with-db" option. I did not specify this option, nor did I
specify the "--without-db" option. I tried unsuccessfully adding the
--without-db option.

Please help.

I'm on a Debian woody box.
