Subject:[courier-users] Bulletins in courier-imap?Actions...

A system with ~300,000 accounts uses courier-imap for pop/imap, and postfix for smtp. We have a webmail service using squirrelmail, but only a few of the customers are using it (most of them use pop via dialup from home).

Since the management sometimes want to send messages to all users we need some kind of bulletin support. Until now we have made a file with the massage in it and made links to it. Since there are quite a few accounts, this process is slow and we'd like a better solution.

As far as I can see courier-imap does not support bulletins. Has anyone implemented it more efficiently than making a file with links to it? Is there a specific reason for not supporting it, besides "nobody has requested it" or "it belongs somewhere else"?

TIA,
