The WSGI spec requires that a WSGI implementation *must* provide trasparent support for HTTP 1.1 "expect/continue" mechanism.

However it seems that nginx does not supports this. Any plans for the future, or this is a practically unused feature?

I do not know any mainstream browser that uses expect/continue (unfortunatly). I know that curl uses expect/continue.
