You shouldn't use the bugs@ list for this kind of question. If you have purchased support, you may ask the support address for information; otherwise, you should direct general questions to the mysql@ list, and reserve bugs@ for genuine, repeatable bug reports.

We have this policy so that we can assure that every report that goes to bugs@ is handled completely before we make a new release. Since we don't charge for our software, we can't afford to offer free support in general, but of course we will offer our most sincere efforts in removing any verified bugs.
