My questions: Is it possible to simply copy the applications (google's java-vm, googles java framework and the other google stuff) from the emulator image and use it in ubuntu ?

Nope. You don't have a version of Dalvik that will run natively on x86.

Do we need some kinda recompile to use them (are the sources already available? somewhere i saw linux2.6androidKernel sources)?

Those are strictly the sources for the kernel, period. There are no published sources for the Android framework, and apparently there won't be, either, before devices ship (in a year, maybe)...

Is there a need of some kind of workarounds for the input devices ?

N/A. See above.

Same question for the output device (can we run a dalvik app in a window) ?

Nope.

What are the chances that google will do all the work for me ?

Who knows? Google, I guess, but they're not talking.
