Whoops I asked a slightly different question to what I intended... must be all that Xmas drinking :)
What I meant was is there an implementation of the MySQL C API (and/or the MySQL++ classes) for Visual C++?
I want to be able to write CGI apps in VC++ using a MySQL library and ANSI C++, and then be able to simply cross-compile onto Linux.
Regards
Dave

Hi,
#1 Is there a Win32 port of the MySQL C API?
Yes
#2 Is there any MySQL API available that is source-level compatible with both Win32 & *nix?
Yes, there is no difference a part from the inclusion of NT Service and NT Named Pipes code
Thanks
Dave
