Hello, Sinisa!

An additional note, somehow my log file's attribute is being changed to "read only". So this explains why mySQL cannot write out to the file. Now, why or how is this occurring??? I have been trying to reproduce this behavior, I will report when "or if" I identify the cause.

Can you make a repeatable test out if it.

Meaning, can you find out when MySQL stops writting to the log file.

Also , please check whether may be SET OPTION that stops logging was issued out.
